It's that time of year again - the Bury Folk Festival 2024 is confirmed for the 29th June so here goes the fundraising campaign!

We're still collecting donations

On the 15th April 2024 we'd raised £140 with 4 supporters in 56 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

Our big idea for 2023 was to start working towards a two day event, pay our artists a fair rate and meet the ever increasing costs of the festival infrastructure whilst keeping ticket prices at a bargain rate. We achieved most of that but decided the two day notion was a step too far for this year so instead, we are introducing a stand alone evening ticket for a special end of festival show.

Some of our featured festival artists have agreed to do a special BFF fundraiser show in the Spring so your support for this years show will help us to:

  • Introduce an extended evening show featuring Frazer Morgan, the Sheri Kershaw Trio, The Wilswood Buoys and Red Velvet
  • Underwrite our Spring Fundraiser show with The Doghouse Collective, Peter & Jane and Fara Affifi
  • Keep our prices affordable for families and folks feeling the pinch
  • Beef up our marketing strategy
  • Support our featured artists with realistic fees and expenses

It was your support that helped us to survice and thrive in 2023 - now its time to invest in a sustainable future for our wonderful annual gathering.
