Building homes from nature in the Philippines

Aim: We are trying to repair our home on our land after the pandemic restrictions and then one of the worst group of typhoons I have ever seen .

I am from Scotland but my dream was always to be with my wife so before the pandemic I went over to be with her in the Philippines, the pandemic struck and from then on its been hard to survive but we did and we used my funds after I sold my Scottish business the kilted carpet cleaner to build a business and a home for our children in the Philippines. 

My background has always been in eco products and recycling and with what I had learned about Adobe and clay built homes we planned to build something beautiful here that would benefit those around us and teach them for free how to build similar homes using natural materiels. 

We had gotten very far into it but had to stop before the roof went on due to high wind and rain that lasted 5 months and then came the typhoons that ripped every bit of the framework apart and took the supplies of leaf that we had for the roof topping .
