At Buddys Social Hub our staff have extensive experience to provide information, advice and guidance on a range of subjects that support financial wellbeing and independent living.
We recognise that having financial wellbeing is an important factor in supporting peoples overall health and happiness. To help to achieve this we run drop-in sessions at Buddys, Monday to Friday, where people with disabilities can come and get practical support to manage their day to day lives.
Our staff can help with filling in forms for benefits to ensure that people are receiving the assistance they need. We can also provide practical advice on budgeting to pay their household bills and have better control of their finances. Furthermore our staff have the expertise to support with managing tenancies and housing issues.
We will also support people to reduce their energy costs by giving advice on how they can reduce their energy usage.
The money raised for this project will be used to fund staff to continue to deliver our information, advice and support service to reach and help more people with disabilities to achieve financial wellbeing.
