Aim: To raise vital funds for Cuan Mhuire, a voluntary provider of Addiction Treatment Services and Residential Rehabilitation.

Hi everyone, I am raising money for Cuan Mhuire an Addiction centre in Newry. This one is personal to myself and my family and I know it may be also to some of you reading this. My father and sister both struggled with alcohol addiction in their lives but thanks to the care, compassion and support they recieved at Cuan Mhuire, they got a second chance at life.

I am running the Antrim Coast Half Marathon on the 24th of August. It is my way of helping others find the same hope and healing that my loved ones found. Every penny will go towards changing lives, reuniting families and breaking the cycle and stigma of addiction. With your help we can bring hope to familes and help Cuan Mhuire carry on their amazing work.

I feel strongly that addiction is often misunderstood, it doesnt discriminate and it affects families from all walks of life. But far too many people suffer in silience, ashamed to ask for help. Thats why I am running- not just to raise funds but to raise awareness. Addiction is an illness, not a moral failing. And recovery is possible.  Addiction affects thousands accross Northern Ireland every year.

Every donation is greatly appreciated, thank you for reading 💜

All proceeds go to Cuan Mhuire, all knee pains go to me!
