Recognising the vital need for political change at the next General Election, Broadland Green Party is pleased to announce their parliamentary candidate for the Broadland & Fakenham constituency - Cllr Jan Davis. Jan and the local party are looking forward to challenging the incumbent, Jerome Mayhew (Conservative), at the next general election, championing the environment on which we all depend for the future wellbeing and economic prosperity of this lovely part of Norfolk.

The Green Party’s increasing popularity across the UK, evidenced by our significant achievements in local and town elections (e.g. the party gained 74 councillors at England's local elections this year, taking its total tally to more than 800) reflects a growing public endorsement of our commitment to environmental sustainability, social equity, and economic fairness.

‘Short Money’ – How your pledge can help the Green Party in Parliament
Very few members of the public have heard of Short Money – most of us are unaware that every vote for the Green Party – our vote – translates into funding for MPs of our party during the next Parliament... even if a Green voter doesn’t live in the areas our MPs are based!
This is why every donation made has a double impact, and it could even have a triple impact:
- Your donation helps the Green Party to stand for election to Parliament; enabling us to challenge the old parties.
- By helping Jan to stand, your donation enables all the votes he receives to translate into government funding for the Green MPs – wherever they are elected!
- If Jan retains his deposit, those funds come back and can be spent by the Green Party again, so we can keep building strength both locally and nationally!
In addition, any surplus funds after the General Election will be used by the local Green Party to help finance our local election candidates.

- £25 - This is a real help towards standing a Green candidate
- £50 - This pays 10% of a Green candidate's deposit
- £75 - £75 is a major help towards a deposit
- £100 - This pays 20% of our deposit - thank you!
- £500 - Fund a whole deposit - massively helpful!
