The British Trombone Society and CBV Productions are asking for help to take their collaborations further.

The British Trombone Society and CBV Productions recently joined forces to produce the first ever "Isolation Massed Blow" music video of the well loved classic "We'll meet again" and now we are asking for your help to continue our collaboration going forward.

The Isolation Massed Blow was overwhelmingly popular within the trombone and tuba community and it's our hope that it can be the catalyst for more community based productions and events going forward.

During these uncertain times we hope that the BTS's collaboration with CBV Productions has brought some light relief and enjoyment to your homes and given hundreds of instrumentalists something to focus on as they contribute to the project themselves.

Undertaking the production of a music video that had a final number of over 500 participants was no mean feat and all of the work from concept to final product was done on an entirely voluntary basis.

With this in mind we are asking for contributions that can support more productions going forward. This may come in the form of another Isolation Massed Blow Video, a "We'll meet again" event to take place when mass gatherings are allowed, community-based low brass workshops around the UK. The costs of these various productions have been outlined below:

  • £3,000 to produce an isolation massed blow video
  • £2,000 to put on a whole day event with workshops, performances and a massed blow
  • £250 to run a community-based low brass workshop

Our aim is to keep promoting the trombone as far and wide as possible and to create exciting events that are easy to access around the UK.
