In August of 2023, Seth El-Shaddai was working with the local council to transform a derelict slipway next to Hammersmith bridge into an urban garden called Bloomtide. It helped to brighten the residents days as well as provide passersby with fresh fruit and plant clippings.
However, in November of 2023, Seth was removed by immigration services against his will and sent back to Barbados. Seth is now taking the necessary legal steps to return to England and continue his work transforming disused urban spaces across London into aesthetically pleasing community gardens.
We are seeking to raise £1000. This would go towards paying for another flight back to the UK from Barbados for Seth. This flight would be scheduled for November 30th and cost approx. £750. The remaining £250 would pay for Seth's Visa application £115 and additional expenses. Seth is seeking to return before the end of 2024 in order to begin the process of resurrecting Bloomtide by summer 2025.
