With continuous impacts of COVID-19 more than ever our club needs us.
Bridgwater & Albion RFC Ladies would like to do their bit to raise money to support the club in this difficult time.
With an ever growing team of Ladies of all ages and backgrounds we want to ensure that when rugby re-starts we can return to the place that we love. We want to continue to build the Ladies team and ensure there is a route for the Youth Girls to continue their rugby development.
Rugby is for all ages, all abilities, is a great way to meet new friends and is believed to improve mental health.
To do our bit the Ladies Team are going to set a number of challenges to achieve in the hope to raise some money in support.
Our first challenge is to run virtually from Bridgwater & Albion RFC to Twickenham and back during Lockdown 2 (November). A total of 424km in 4 weeks.
With almost 9 months with no rugby this is obviously going to be a bigger challenge than it would have been last year. However we want to ensure the safe return of our club to the game and come back fitter and stronger!
