Hi, I’m Claire, a parent to amazing children with special needs, and I’m on a mission to create a community hub where families like mine can feel truly seen, supported, and included.
As a mum who knows the daily joys and challenges of raising children with SEND, I’ve often felt the lack of spaces where our families are fully understood. Places to connect, share experiences, and just be—without judgment or barriers—are few and far between. That’s why I’m working to build a hub designed with our children in mind: sensory-friendly, inclusive, and rooted in community. I am studying a degree in Special Educational Needs to fully understand how to best support this community.
This will be a safe, welcoming space for children to play and thrive, and for parents and carers to come together, access resources, and find the support we all need. Whether it’s through relaxed drop-ins, creative sessions, or simply having a place to exhale—we deserve it.
