We are Bricks. We believe that community and creativity have the power to change the world. We know that when people come together, when they feel heard and supported, incredible things happen. That’s why we’re dedicated to fostering creative community-led spaces where everyone is able to grow, connect, and thrive.

We believe that everyone has a stake in the place that they call home. We believe that communities are the best at knowing what they need, and they should be the ones leading the way - they have the ability and the answers.
We tackle issues like social isolation; societal polarisation; the lack of access to affordable community and creative spaces; community confidence in affecting change and the challenging cycles of gentrification - by bringing people together in places that promote creativity and connection. These spaces allow us to build resilience, confront the effects of climate change, and support those who need it most.
Bricks works across 5 areas:
- running St Anne’s House
- engaging with communities
- working with young people
- commissioning public art
- developing creative infrastructure
