An Exciting Outdoor Library Room and Reading Area

Aim: We are creating a great outside library and reading space for all our pupils and families to enjoy! We need help and support to fund this.

We love reading - we want to do this more! 

As we are a fully inclusive school, we have made several changes to our building inside including creating a sensory room and nurture room for our children to learn best and meet their needs. 

Because of these essential changes we have had to sadly lose our indoor library and rethink where we can utilise within our grounds to create our vision. 

Our vision is to relocate our library and have an exciting new reading room in an outdoor space, amongst shady trees and gardens with brand new books and an area to enjoy and inspire learners for the future! 

This area is essential for our learners to attain the greatest of skills - reading. 

We believe in being able to read to achieve and succeed. 

We need a space to house our library, which could be a cabin or summer house, brand new books, comfortable seating and much more to create a sensory garden and inspirational facilities outdoors. 

Unfortunately our budget does not allow us to meet our vision and we are looking to the help of the wider community to fulfil this essential life skill.
