We're still collecting donations
On the 4th August 2020 we'd raised £370 with 27 supporters in 14 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
To raise money for the club to purchase equipment (RFiD chips, etc...) to restart safely again in August.

On the 4th August 2020 we'd raised £370 with 27 supporters in 14 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Government restrictions have eased and England Athletics have provided information on how outdoor events can start again.
Therefore, we are looking for ways to start again safely and one way of doing this is for every participant be issued with their own RFiD - wristband.
As you may know, the club isn't awash with funds and hasn't charged the earth to pay for annual insurance for a registration fee. Current costs are less than 6p a week per person.
The need for this personal issue of RFiD wristbands should seem fairly simple - the prevention of passing on any microbes via numerous people handling the wristbands both on the day or week-by-week basis.
We are asking our non-member followers if they could kindly donate £5 to help keep the club afloat, as we purchase more wristbands and our additional outgoing's accrue.
