Boxgrove Primary School PTA is a UK registered charity working to support and enhance the learning experience for the 640 pupils attending Boxgrove Primary School. We raise much needed funds to support the school make life for all pupils more fun and educational and to enhance curricular and extracurricular learning and activities. Our local community is incredibly important to us and we also raise essential funding to support the most vulnerable families in our school family and those in need in our community.
Boxgrove Primary School is an Academy co-educational school for children aged 4 - 11 years old and is situated on the east side of Guildford (between Burpham and Merrow). Our core aim is to help children grow into individuals who are creative, inquisitive, resilient, ambitious, independent and caring. This will enable them to be committed to learning for the rest of their lives. We achieve this by:
Engendering a positive atmosphere that ensures all children feel cared for and secure
Encouraging pupils to develop an understanding and awareness of personal, spiritual, moral and cultural values.
Providing wide and enriching learning experiences within the school environment and the wider community enabling all children to achieve more than they thought possible.
Helping all pupils to appreciate, respect and understand each other as individuals and to take personal responsibility for maintaining and caring for the school environment and our whole school community.
Working together with parents to provide a partnership which supports the growing child.
