The Cost of Living Crisis, Continues - Bournemouth Foodbank is here to support people in crisis from the wider Bournemouth communities. 

The reality of rising prices and the struggle to afford the basics, is a harsh reality for many in our community. The cost of living crisis is hitting hard, and we've heard the most heartbreaking stories of families in crisis.

Due to increasing demand, we continuously need the support of our community. Together, we can provide emergency food and support to those in need. Your donation can make a real difference in someone's life:

In 2022 we provided emergency food and support to more than 12K people, of which 3.5K were children who visited one of our 4 centres. We had the privilege to welcome them at the community café we opened last year. Your support will help us keep our doors open and provide a warm welcoming space where people can come for a drink or hot, nutritious meal.

At Bournemouth Foodbank, we believe everyone deserves a safety net, and that's why we're here to provide help when needed. We're a friendly, welcoming and nurturing place where vulnerable people can turn for support.

With your support, we aim to provide much-needed assistance to those in our community facing the most challenging circumstances. The funds raised will help individuals struggling with long-term unemployment, those living in poverty, and children experiencing malnutrition. We provide courses to upskill people and give them the confidence to find and keep jobs that significantly improve the situation. It is important to note that at Bournemouth Foodbank, we do not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, gender, or sexuality. Our goal is to support all members of our community who are in need, regardless of their background. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of those struggling to make ends meet.

They need advice, guidance, employment, training and up-skilling, support network, practical items and signposting to other specialist services". At the Bournemouth Foodbank we provide crisis support while also working to address issues at the causation level. Our aim is to end the negative cycle of poverty in people's lives. 

More than a Food Bank:

Bournemouth Foodbank is more than a food bank. We are a Community Hub with events, courses, training and services that provide outcomes of reduced isolation, social engagement, community cohesion, increased employment, improved education, improved health, improved mental health and much more.
