Aim: Bosbury and Coddington Group Parish Council have been developing a play area scheme to be installed on the land they own in Bosbury
Bosbury and Coddington Group Parish Council have been developing a play area scheme to be installed on the land they own at Forge Bank, Bosbury. The intention is to install the Play Park by Summer 2025.
There are no play facilities for any younger children within the Bosbury area – despite a growing population and a primary school being in the village.
Following consultation with parishioners and interested parties, the Parish Council have drawn up the attached scheme as an ideal design to meet the needs of a variety of ages of children.
The cost of this scheme will come to £75,000. The Parish Council have set aside an initial sum of £20,000 to put towards funding this scheme and have successfully applied for and been awarded a further £20,000 of National Lottery Grant Funding. The Parish Council are now actively investigating other options for funding the remaining sum.
As Bosbury has a thriving, close-knit community it is very much hoped that small businesses and organisations will wish to support such a scheme as a positive addition to the facilities already found in the area.
This project successfully funded on 1st July 2024
