Bognor Regis Autism & Send Support Covid-19 fund

Staying at home is difficult for many children but for children with additional needs and their families it can be so much worse. Children with additional needs thrive on structure and routine and their whole world has come crashing down around them causing our families to struggle both financially and emotionally and we want to help. 

We are a parent led self funded not for profit community group made up of parents that understand what life is like, not only for children but also their siblings and parents. 

Normally during this time we would be offering our free stay and play sessions where children and their siblings can play in a judgement free environment but we cannot do this at the moment. 

We have been assisting our families with supermarket vouchers and activities such as Lego, sensory play, jigsaws, arts and crafts and games to help children during this time. We have signed up to the local food bank to refer our families to. Our funding has now run out but we still have so many more people to help. 

We would like donations to be able to continue sending support to families that need it during this time and we will use your money in the following ways

- to continue to provide supermarket vouchers to families whose income has been reduced due to covid-19 (this is important as lots of our children have very rigid and specific dietary needs)

- to continue to send activities to children and their siblings that are either educational, sensory or just plain fun 

- to continue to support parents and carers in any way we possibly can
