Target reached! Stretch target: £2,000

Donate all money equally to 4 charities.

Aim: To support four local charities within our community.

18 local residents are taking part in this years Bog Commander challenge on Saturday 11th May 2024.

We will be participating in a 6km assault course not for the faint hearted. The assault course consists of the longest zip wire in the Peak District at over 260 metres long, watery tunnels, a death slide, a cargo net over the Manifold River and over 30 man made testing obstacles to conquer including heaps of bouncing bogs.

We would like to say we are doing this for fun but we are not so sure!

As a team we have spent over £900 in entry fees so by completing this challenge, we wanted to give something back to our community.

All money raised will be split equally between the below charities:

  • Manifold Pre School
  • Warslow Village Hall
  • Wetton & Alstonefield First Responders
  • Flash & Longnor First Responders

It's going to be tough! Any sponsors and messages of support would be truly appreciated.

'Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts'.

Thanks,
