Blackpool CC Fun Run

Here at Blackpool Cricket Club we have been inspired by the #RedForRuth campaign that we have all seen highlighted at the recent Lords Test Match, and we wanted to do our bit to raise money for this great cause.

The Ruth Strauss Foundation helps provide emotional support for families to prepare for the death of a parent and also raises awareness of the need for more research & collaboration in the fight against non-smoking lung cancers.

On Friday 7th July, there will be a "Fun Run" round the cricket ground and we want to encourage people to donate what they can (if they can) whether large or small, to this great cause. 

Our junior section, including our Allstars and Dynamos will be taking part. 

The younger children will be completing laps of the square, and the older ones laps of the ground. We hope runners will wear something red to celebrate the charity.
