The Cause
This September I am taking Mount Toubkal - the highest Peak in North Africa! This is a challenging trek at altitude which will see me ascend 4167 metres over 3 days in the Atlas Mountains.
For this challenge I am undertaking a 6 month training plan which should hopefully set me up to reach the top and get back down in one piece!
Your kind support can make a real difference in helping me reach my individual target amount of £4,000.
Through this fundraising we can provide vital resources and support to those in need.
Alongside sponsorship for this challenging event, I will be undertaking lots of fundraising activities over the coming months. Including this raffle, which Big Box Gym kindly donated the prize for!

Crisis, Simon Community and Lloyds Banking Group believe everyone should have a safe and secure place to call home.
Since the partnership began in April 2023 LBG colleagues have hit the ground running, raising £1.3 million before the year was out.
1. Call for one million new social homes to be built in the next 10 years
There are many reasons why people experience homelessness, but the shortage of truly affordable, quality housing available in the UK makes a huge contribution to the growing numbers of people living in temporary accommodation, sofa surfing and rough sleeping. We urgently need more homes for people on low incomes. Together, we’re calling for one million social homes to be built by 2033.
2. Launch a brand new not-for-profit lettings agency
During the next two years Lloyds Banking Group fundraising and expertise will support Crisis and Homes For Good to develop and launch a new not-for-profit lettings agency. The new agency will match and support tenants and landlords to make renting easier and safer. All profits will go to ensuring people experiencing homelessness can find a safe and stable home. The lettings agency will open in London later this year and it’s our ambition to then roll it out across Great Britain.
3. Work together to change lives
Lloyds Banking Group fundraising will also support our Changing Lives Grants Programme which helps people experiencing homelessness access education and employment, including starting their own business.
This is just the beginning. 2024's Signature Challenge, will see me and 119 fellow LBG colleagues take on Toubkal and support the hundreds of thousands of households across the UK facing homelessness
