On the 24th May 2022 we'd raised £8 with 1 supporters in 56 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We are South West Event Management Solutions - based in Bideford, North Devon.
We are organising a number of local community events in Bideford. The events are open to the whole community and will bring everyone together in a safe and nurturing environment- giving opportunities to learn and engage. This year our events will include:
Bideford Music Day
RainBo Fun Run
Bideford Diversity Festival and Celebration Parade
Bideford’s Wicked Week in October Half Term
Bideford’s Christmas Light Switch On
Race the Reindeer
Family New Years Eve Party
Craft, Food and Drink Festivals
These events are all free to participate in - however, the costs of putting on the events is high - and we are looking to raise funds so that the events can reach their full potential and can include as many interactive experiences and opportunities as possible for all of those who attend. All funds raised through this crowdfunded will be used for activities within these events such as facepainting, craft workshops, music workshops, costume workshops, interactive science workshops, and experiences saw as Really Wild Learning and exercise warm ups and sessions. These activiites are free of charge to those attending the events.
The events will include workshops and training opportunities. Workshops will include arts and crafts, music and dance. Participants will be offered the chance to demonstrate their newly learnt skills on stage in front of a live audience and in event performances - such as the Diversity Festival’s Celebration Parade.
We will be recruiting volunteers to work at the events and volunteers will learn essential skills and gain knowledge which will benefit them in their future work.
Events will have information and demonstrations which will promote equal opportunities, inclusion and support for people attending the events.
Local groups and organisations are invited to participate in the events.
The diversity Festival aims to bring everyone in the community together to celebrate their differences and to learn about each other’s cultures and beliefs. We want to bring the whole community together - all ages, genders, ethnicities, religions - giving people a chance to learn about their neighbours and promoting respect.
