Aim: One of our amazing members, Bhikhu, is doing a charity skydive to raise money for Switchboard's Older People's Project.
Brighton & Hove LGBT Switchboard's Older People's Project supports LGBTQ+ people aged 50 and over in Brighton & Hove, helping them to meet other people in the community, form new connections and receive information on other services. We run a number of regular social activities, meet ups, coffee mornings and trips, and also provide information and training to health care providers about the experiences of older LGBTQ+ people.
Bhikhu is one of this project's amazing members. After working for decades as a commercial airline pilot, on the 14th July he will be taking on a feat that probably wasn't included in his training: diving 12,000 feet out of moving plane, all to raise money for Switchboard and the Older People's Project.
