Aim: BGC Wales Girls Football seeks to fundraise for its U15s and U17s matches v BGC Scotland in July 2025

Who are we?

Boys' and Girls' Clubs of Wales is a national voluntary youth work organisation offering young people new and attractive opportunities by providing a full and varied programme of educational, cultural, sporting and social activities. This year sees our National Girls U15 and U17 teams host BGC Scotland at Aberystwyth University with capped international matches to be played at Aberystwyth Town FC.

Why are we crowdfunding?

BGC Wales Girls Football is fundraising to cover some of the costs of its international 2025 programme. Funds will help to reduce the burden on parents/guardians and make our journey a level playing field for our amazing young sportswomen.

Community impact

BGC Wales brings International Football to young female footballers who may not have otherwise had the opportunity.  The format of the programme is built around respect, fairness and competitiveness and there is an expectation on all involved to promote these qualities throughout the footballing community.   BGC Wales maintains contact with past players, helping them in their journey as young leaders, and promotes strong involvement in the development of young players and teams.  BGC Wales also promotes best practice in safeguarding and club building and dedicates much time to providing important education, free of charge, to the footballing and indeed sporting community.
