We are raising money to help us complete some much needed boat repairs. Over the years we have been gifted a few boats to use but they are now needing a bit of TLC to allow us to continue using them for years to come, as well as getting some new storage racking for not just our boathouse but also for the larger boats we store at Derwent Reservoir Sailing Club.
We currently have a small handful of boats which are in a usable condition meaning at present we are unable to take on new beginner rowers until we have fixed them up as we have nothing suitable to teach them in.
We are also looking to raise enough money to help us buy a trailer. This would allow us to take part in events around the country, and give our members opportunities that normal only comes from the larger clubs in the North East by taking them out and about to experience racing and all things rowing.
Your help will allow Ebchester Boat Club to continue to flourish and develop, and keep the history of this small community club alive.
