Climbing Ben Nevis

Myself and my wife have been unfortunate enough in the last few years to lose loved ones who suffered from the affects of Alzheimers in the last years of their lives and understand the difficulty that comes with this disease for both the victims and families and loved ones.

The Alzheimers society’s mission is:

“to transform the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will strive to create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.”

With several friends we will be scaling the tallest mountain in Britain in July 2022 making our way to the summit which sits at 1345 metres above sea level in a bid to raise as much money as we can to donate to this worthy cause.
