Aim: Postcards from the Endangered is a seasonal storytelling project that shines a light on Britain’s fragile and forgotten wild places.
Hi, I’m Kirsty. I’m an accredited mindfulness teacher, writer, aromatherapist, and the founder of Bellflower & Bloom—a nature-based community I started during a time I felt completely lost.
After going through the heartbreak of not being able to have children, I needed something to hold on to. I found it in nature. Long walks, learning the names of wildflowers, watching bees—it helped me heal. Over time, I wanted to give something back. That’s how Bellflower & Bloom was born, offering gentle seasonal actions like seed swaps and our #BloomForBees challenge, helping others reconnect too.
Postcards from the Endangered is a personal project and something I care about deeply. I walk through threatened landscapes across the UK and turn those journeys into digital postcards—real stories, plant facts, wildlife sightings, and why these places matter. It’s my way of quietly raising awareness and encouraging people to care more about what we’re at risk of losing.
I live in Lincolnshire with my dog Robyn, Digby the rescue chinchilla, Bennie the rescued cockerel, and 18 cheeky chickens. Your support means I can keep doing this—walking, writing, sharing—and eventually turn these postcards into a book.
Thank you for being here. x
