BelEve is a female-led, girl-focused organisation working with girls between the ages of 8-18 from disadvantaged backgrounds in London. Our mission is to equip girls and young women with the skills, support and confidence to find their voice and make informed choices about their future. Our programmes are underpinned by mentoring to ensure support, guidance and enable empowerment. We aim to provide tools that build self-belief, self-love, self- confidence and address emotional, mental and physical well-being as well as developing leadership and other social qualities empowering girls to maximise their life and career prospects.

BelEve works with disadvantaged, marginalised, and underrepresented young women in our local communities. We are committed to inspiring the next generation of female leaders to become leaders of their own world, recognise their limitless potential and celebrate their achievements. No girl or young woman should have her life chances determined by her background. Our impactful training programmes equip girls and young women with the skills, support and confidence to find their voice and make informed choices about their future.
Mentoring has been proven to positively impact the life chances of mentees, by building their confidence and self-belief and helping them reach their true potential in life. According to MENTOR, 1 in 3 young people will grow up without a mentor. Our very popular and impactful BelEve in Her Success mentoring programme is now entering its 5th year and in 2021, we paired 141 young women with mentors. 90% of the girls aged 16-21 said their mentor was important in supporting them onto the next stage of education or career and life.
We want to double our impact in 2022 and we have an immediate goal to raise £4,500 to provide a mentor for 6 disadvantaged young women. With your support, we can do this together. Connecting young girls with a successful and inspiring mentor role model will encourage them to reach their true potential in life and participate in society as confident, mature and responsible individuals. Every £1 or Nectar point donated really does make an immediate impact on a young girl’s future life prospects.
It costs £750 to mentor a girl for one year. That’s the equivalent of 150,000 donated Nectar points.
£5 will help pay for a girl to meet her mentor. That’s the equivalent of 1,000 donated Nectar points.
£25 will train 1 woman to become a mentor. That’s the equivalent of 5,000 donated Nectar points.
£100 will help to support a mentee for a year. That’s the equivalent of 20,000 donated Nectar points.
Whether you choose to make a one-off or regular donation, your gift will immediately change a young life for good. Thank you!, we simply cannot do this on our own.
