The short film will adapt The Yellow Wallpaper to be an allegory about gender and how society forces gender conventions upon people. I want to tell this story as I understand how it feels to be in a situation where you're forced to be gender-conforming and how it can be detrimental to mental health. I would like to bring awareness to this through making this film.
