Bedworth cricket club has been established for over 150 years.
For this whole time cricket has been played on this ground, entertaining the public and anyone who visits the miners welfare park.
Unfortunately, in recent years the harsh evolving climate has taken it's toll on the ground.
Due to the layout of the ground, the pitch and playing surface acts as a bowl to water coming down the bank all the way around the park. Because of this, maintaining a quality outfield has become seriously difficult in recent years.
This season we have had equipment break down regularly, particularly in March/April. We urgently need to purchase new modern equipment to ensure the club and ground moves forward.
New equipment and investing in a new drainage system will ensure the club can be operating for many years to come.
In addition, funds will be used to improve the outdoor nets as well as the 3rd & 4th team ground facilities such as Sightscreens.
Any donation is greatly appreciated.
