My lovely mum sent me a cheque of her furloughed pay, because she feels guilty being paid for not working. She asked me to put the money to good use for those who need it more than her. Happily it also smashes our stretch target - well done Mum!!

tahnk you SO MUCH for all your hard work. May I kindly suggest that you add apple pay and / or paypal to your donation page as it does make it much faster; in the aftermath of the Guardian article I am sure many people will seek to donate but will be deterred if they have to enter manually their credit card details. Keep up the good work, bless you

You will always find people worse off than yourself and if you are able to donate to those in such situations through no fault of their own then do so.
