We did it
On 26th August 2024 we successfully raised £445 with 13 supporters in 56 days
Our aim is to ask ordinary people across South Yorkshire for their thoughts about climate change and present our results in a public meeting

We go to public places such as shopping centres, sports venues and festivals with only a pull-up banner and a hand-held board, and invite passers by to tell us their thoughts and feelings on climate change. We don't lecture or try to educate people, but we have cards we can give them with websites where they can find out more. Our long term aim is to hold a series of public meetings in South Yorkshire to present our results and show decision makers how strongly many members of the public feel about this issue.
We are raising funds to help pay for our running costs, which include:
- Public Liability Insurance (approx. £200 per year)
- Booking stalls at events and festivals (approx. £10 - £20 per stall)
- Materials, e.g. business cards
- Travel expenses for volunteers
