by Mark Tyrrell in Banbury, England, United Kingdom

Who are we?

We are a small team of volunteers, keen to work together with our local community, business, faith groups and anyone passionate about reducing food waste, addressing food poverty and eating healthily.

What is the progress so far?

March 2021 - fantastic news thanks to your donations and the hard work of our volunteers our Banking account has a balance of £257.02

We have received grants from IFAN & Banbury Town Council so we are delighted to be underway with our fundraising, but there is still a lot of work to do and we need your help.

How would we use your donation?

WHAT IS BANBURY TOWN BUSINESS & RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH PROJECT  AND HOW CAN YOU HELP?

We have been operating Banbury Town Business & Residential Neighbourhood Watch Project as a community not for profit organisation since March 2020 based in the Thames Valley town of Banbury Oxfordshire.  We have a team of volunteers responsible for the day-to-day running of the organisation these include a secretary, treasurer, & three trustee's.

As a community not for profit organisation, we are committed to work within the community to help promote an independent foodbank, social supermarket, youth cafe, volunteer delivery/collection service, volunteer residential patrols, and volunteer business patrols. Banbury Town Business & Residential Neighbourhood Watch Project is totally independent.

During these unprecedented times, to continue with our projects we need your donations. Like other businesses and charities we are feeling the financial effects the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions have brought.

Over the past 12 Months, We have achieved a lot but there is still much much more to do, and this is where you can help! we need to raise funds to acquire a premises for our social supermarket foodbank & youth cafe The social supermarket & youth Cafe would allow us to expand our activities while providing an income to support our not for profit organisation. The interior of the social supermarket & youth cafe would be fitted out and the youth cafe would give the youths of Banbury a welcoming and warm environment to socialise thus decreasing anti social behaviour and crime.
