Terms & Conditions

• Each £5 donation will enter you into the prize draw. You can also purchase ticket bundles from our reward list. All funds will help save threatened animals in Scotland and around the world.
• You may make several entries to the prize draw but only one Baby Pygmy Hippo experience prize will be awarded.
• The prize draw will close at 10:00am on Monday 18 November, and the winners will be randomly selected through a draw performed by a computer process.
• The winner will be notified by email by Tuesday 19 November.
• Entrants signing up for awards including RZSS membership or a pygmy hippo adoption will be contacted about their awards within a week of the closing date.
• Entrants signing up for an award including complimentary tickets will receive their tickets within a month of the closing date. These will be valid for a year from the date received.
• For awards including RZSS membership or a pygmy hippo adoption, standard terms and conditions of RZSS membership and animal adoption will apply and can be found at rzss.org.uk/support/membership/membership-terms
• The prize draw is open to all aged 18 years or over excluding RZSS and associated partner’s employees and their families, RZSS board members or any third party directly associated with the administration of the prize draw.
• The Baby Pygmy Hippo Experience prize can be redeemed between January 2025 and June 2025.
• This prize is suitable for two people aged 12 or older. 
• Up to two additional animals can be selected by the winner as part of the main prize.
• Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate you on your preferred date, we cannot guarantee the first choice of date will be available. Please get in touch to discuss any travel/accommodation arrangements prior to confirming your prize experience. 
• The welfare of the animals in our care is one of our top priorities. Should any animals on the day of the visit be experiencing any health issues we may have to alter the experience and either find a suitable alternative or book in for a different day.  
• RZSS reserves the right to reschedule or cancel any booked experiences for reasons such as severe weather, staff shortages, and animal welfare reasons. RZSS will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible but please be aware that cancellations may occur on the day of the experience for reasons beyond the control of RZSS. 
• RZSS will not be responsible for any travel, accommodation, or any other costs if a date is cancelled. 
• We require at least 14 days’ notice to book your prize and we’ll work together with you to find the date that suits everyone. 
• Please allow 14 days’ notice if you wish to cancel or rearrange your booking.
