Covid-19 has severely affected the income needed to sustain and operate Pelsall Community Centre. Pre Covid-19 our village community centre was thriving, hosting many local organisations, events, classes and meetings for the benefit of the local community. From fitness classes to tea dances, we hosted them all. However, Covid-19 has seen many of our user groups not able to return, this was resulted in a loss of revenue of over £1,000 a month so far. As a registered charity, we are not here to make a profit, but to sustain the operation of the building and the one full time member of staff.
We wish to purchase a disinfectant fogging machine which will assist us to ensure the building is fully sanitised in between the various groups using the centre and build public confidence up that the centre is a safe place to come and use.
We are a non funded charity that opened its doors in 1965 to serve the community of Pelsall and beyond. Help us to keep going for the next generations and help us to come through the effects of Covid-19 and the financial implications that it has had on us as a charity.
