Gusto Group run an ambitious grassroots football club, Newark & Sherwood United FC (aka The Highwaymen). Following the success of B Corp month, the Gusto Group team came up with the idea to create a football shirt celebrating the 2000 plus B Corps now certified in the UK.
With ‘Supported by B Corps’ in place of a sponsor logo on the front, the shirt will incorporate the names of all current UK B Corps within the shirt design and will serve to promote the growth of the B Corp movement. The shirts will be manufactured by fellow B Corp, Tsunami Sport, and are available for sponsorship by certified B Corps. Our goal with the shirt is to speak to a new audience for B Corps, one which has traditionally been bombarded by marketing messages from the gambling, aviation and fossil fuel industries. We currently have B Corp sponsors for the club, including BOSH! and Shakespeare Martineau, but wanted to take this one step further.
As a semi professional football club, ‘The Highwaymen’ compete in the FA Cup, FA Vase and play at Step 5 in the football pyramid and are passionate about doing football differently. We are the second vegan football club in the UK and promote diversity and inclusivity within grassroots sport.

There is no charge to UK B Corps for this, however if you would like to support the club’s mission or pre-order your own shirt, please donate below.
