Ayesha was born and raised in Stockport. She studied law at the University of Manchester and was called to the bar.
Ayesha believes passionately in public ownership and the renationalisation of essential services like water, energy, and transport. We should not be paying private companies and their CEOs massive bonuses for what rightfully belongs to the British people. Water, energy, and rail services should be owned and managed for the public good, not for private profit.
In Parliament, she will fight for the rights of her constituents: affordable housing, high-quality state education, a working NHS, and the renationalisation of water, rail, and energy.
Ayesha stands firmly against the genocide in Palestine. She is horrified by the statements of Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer regarding their stance on Israel. We must ask ourselves: if these are their views on Palestinian people and their children, how can we trust them with our own children and our own lives?
You can follow Ayesha on her TikTok page. Ayesha currently does not use Meta products such as Facebook and Instagram for her campaign due to their censorship of Palestinian voices and supporters of Palestinian rights as documented by Human Rights Watch.
