Avon Main Wall Stakes

As most of us know a lot of the top outs at Main Wall / Main Area rely on the fence for anchor points. The fence is often in a very poor state, it's gone far past its usefulness as an anchor and the council have understandably never allowed us to use it.

The solution is to install belay stakes at each top out that currently relies on the fence.

We need to raise money to do this, the plan is to use stainless steel bar, as it should last a considerable amount of time and be very strong. Its not cheap. The BMC have promised us a good part of it, but with an estimation of £1500 needed in total we have a way to go. Due to the permissions needed from Natural England it is neccessary to do them all at once. Any extra funds raised will go towards fixed gear replacement in Avon.
