To raise awareness of autism through bringing training and jobs in film and make a fantasy movie with the autistic and wider community.

by Screen Dreams in Bradford, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom

As someone who is autistic and having a very late diagnoses I have spent most of my life struggling to find where I fit. My understanding of how easily someone with autism and other neurodiversity issues can be misunderstood, misread, and completely overlooked has made me want something better for the community. So I started a non profit company. The aim is to become a registered charity that will offer quick diagnosis for those believing they are or may be neurodivergent. Offer training and employment within the charity. Our focus is on the entertainment industry and the lack of accessibility. On finding the stars who have yet to shine, the creative souls who dream of being part of something truly wonderful. Helping them gain real life skills in an environment that is accepting, safe, and focused on their development.

As we grow we can offer more services, more workshops and work placements so our community can gain the skills they need to work. All of this and so much more.
