Aurum Autism Support provides a safe, supportive, and professionally-led space, where autistic women and girls can be their authentic selves.
How we help
We run specialist support services for autistic women and girls in the Worcestershire area, to help them to improve their lives and reach their full potential.
Autistic women and girls are typically diagnosed later than males, and often struggle to access appropriate support. As a result they may feel isolated, alienated or anxious. We give autistic women and girls the chance to learn from and help each other, forming a community where they feel accepted and supported.
Our life-changing services include:
- Social groups for autistic women and girls
- Discussion groups for autistic women
- Group activities
- Parent support groups
- Individual mentoring
How your donation will help
Your donation will allow us to continue providing our essential support services to autistic women and girls, during 2024 and beyond.
We do not receive any government funding and rely on charitable donations to deliver these life-changing services.
Even a small donation would make a huge difference to the lives of autistic women and girls. Here is how your donation can help:
- £10: buys supplies for a craft group for two autistic women or girls
- £25: pays for a support session for an autistic woman or girl
- £50: funds a member of staff for our online discussion or parent group
- £100: contributes to essential staffing for our in-person support groups

"I am so grateful that we found the Aurum group. It has made a huge difference to my daughter. It has given her reasons to get out of the house, events to look forward to, friendships..."
Parent of autistic girl
"Aurum has provided generous one-to-one support to me, with helpful advice about available resources and about ways of supporting my daughter in engaging with the community and developing her confidence, as well as helping me to think about how to support her as she becomes an adult. Parenting a child with complex difficulties can feel very lonely and I am very grateful to Aurum for offering such expert help."
