Covid-19 meant that a lot of household went without support for many weeks. Many family units were needing to stay safe to protect their loved ones, but still need to take risk to be able to go to the shops. Some can not afford the shopping in the first place since lockdown meant many of those that are self-employed have not been able to work.
Atherstone Matters is a community group that created an Essential Items Delivery service to support those that need some extra help until things get back to normal. We run on a honestly basis - "Have what you need, Donate what you can afford".
