As a devoted mother of three, I made the courageous decision to leave my cherished home in the Caribbean, hoping to create a safer and brighter future for my family in the United Kingdom. After facing significant challenges following my medical discharge from the British Army, my resolve to build a better life has only deepened.  I am working diligently to contribute positively to this wonderful country that I now call home. Yet, I find myself in a situation of great uncertainty regarding my legal status, as I have applied for asylum.

The journey I am on is anything but easy. Since leaving the army, I have committed myself to my studying, but the complexity and urgency of the asylum process have become overwhelming. I earnestly need the support of legal professionals who can guide me through the Home Office's requirements, present my case in the best light possible, and help me secure my right to remain in the UK. Without this crucial support, I risk being returned to unsafe conditions in my home country—a reality I fear deeply.

That’s why I’m reaching out to you for help. The funds raised through this campaign will allow me to hire an experienced immigration solicitor who can:

- Prepare and submit essential documents to bolster my asylum application

- Represent me during vital interviews with the Home Office

- Offer legal advice to ensure my case is presented effectively

Regrettably, I do not qualify for total legal aid, and the legal fees required for this process are beyond my means.
