To create a base of operations

by Artside in Manchester, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom

We're still collecting donations

On the 18th July 2022 we'd raised £120 with 4 supporters in 56 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

Leading the way with immersive event spaces, creator led classes, networking and sales.

Artside is a community driven exhibitor and gallery service, created with independent creatives in mind. We provide an inclusive space for all, no matter the size of  project or talent needed to showcase.

Our goals are simple :

To Nurture

It all begins with a an idea and a sense of drive. Picking up a pen, pan to stove, whistling a tune or reading a book. Artside strives to bring forth your creative side and give you a platform to showcase your ambition.

To Immerse

Your creativity tells a tale, whether one over time or a journey you made to complete it. Our exhibitions allow you to refine and distill the message you want to represent in a whole new way; from nostalgia to futurism.

Artside was founded during the 2020 pandemic, under the pretense of bringing a sense of community back when a lot of us felt alone and isolated. It was a fantastic way to get friends together, and to feel like we were still productive. Struggling to meet up meant that ourselves and many other creatives turned to alternate means of spending time together.

Now it’s about growth and reconnecting with ourselves. Our mission statement is simple; 'To curate creativity'. Artside doesn't aim for art we aim for experiences. we're tired of stuffy museums and gallery walls; creativity to us is about experiences and taking part in a greater feeling.

The finances raised during this campaign will allow us to have a 'Base Camp'. We currently operate on a pop up basis, and although we love taking over fun and exciting spots, a home base would allow us to connect to our audience through a more traditional, and regular method.

The permanent space would include a performance area, a 'classroom' for creator led classes, and an ever changing gallery that's completely adaptable to to whatever brief is thrown at it.

We'd like to thank you for taking the time to check this campaign out, and if you'd like to visit our website you're more than welcome to see what other's have said about our events/exhibitions/expos
