We are reaching out to you for support in funding our Army Youths Annual Summer School this year through our GoFundMe campaign. None of our staff get paid and we receive no extra funding and the pupils do NOT have to pay to attend as its free! This program is a vital opportunity for disabled and vulnerable children, offering them the chance to develop essential life skills while having an unforgettable experience.
Our Summer School runs over three days, with two of those nights spent camping outdoors. During this time, the children will participate in a variety of activities, including:
First Aid Training: Learning life-saving skills that could make a difference in any emergency.
Archery: Building focus and coordination in a safe and enjoyable environment.
Army Fieldcraft Skills: Teaching essential survival and teamwork skills in the great outdoors.
Cooking Ration Packs: Showing them how to prepare food in the field, helping them gain practical skills and independence.
These experiences not only provide fun and adventure but also help the children build confidence, resilience, and a sense of achievement.
But we can't do it without your help. Running this program requires significant resources, and we are asking for donations to ensure its success. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will go directly toward funding the activities, camping gear, and materials needed to make this Summer School a reality for these children.
