Who are we?
We are the combination off all the amateur boxing clubs across counties Armagh and county Down. A County Development squad has therefore been created to come together and learn from each others own clubs training. This pool of knowledge should amalgamate into creating champions locally, Nationally and internationally.
Why are we crowdfunding?
The Development Squad is new to these Counties. This is something we hope will increase the already amazing talent that we have. Starting out we have no Squad kit as well as limited funds for sending our boxers to competitions to represent these counties.
How we’ll spend the money raised
We aim to be able to kit out our boxers in Branded Gear, as well as aiming to fund the travel of our boxers to competitions outside their normal locality. We are aiming to fund this as we feel no child should miss this opportunity, if selected to join the Squad. Our boxers come from all walks of life and we want the ability to treat them equally.
Community impact
We aim to fly the flag for Amateur Boxing in Armagh and Down. We are nurturing the best we have so we can go further afield and win titles and championships, these will then be taken back to their local communities, therefore creating pride and a sense of achievement. Also letting others know what talent we have to offer across our region.
These young people could be the next All Ireland Champion, Commonwealth Champion, European Champion or even World Champion given the right help and support.

There are three simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
