0This Halloween, we have an incredible opportunity to light up Sheffield in a dark season through Arise:Hallow. Our goal is to distribute thousands of trick-or-treat bags filled with Gospel messages, transforming our streets into places of hospitality and faith.
Last year, we witnessed an amazing response as £3,180 was raised to spread hope across Sheffield, supported by a generous Grant. This year, we face a challenge—we have not been successful in securing a grant to fund Arise:Hallow.
It's now up to us—the church of Sheffield—to step up and make it happen.
Let me share a story of the impact Arise had last year:
One family, who usually hid from trick-or-treaters, decided to join the campaign. They filled their trick-or-treat bags with Gospel messages and stepped outside to engage with their community. That night, they connected with dozens of families, shared the message of Jesus, and even invited several neighbors to church. The joy and sense of community they experienced were profound, Jesus was shared, and many new friendships were formed.

Any amount is welcome: Here’s how your donation can make a difference:
- £25 supplies 40 Bags of Hope. Each bag contains a children’s resource, sticker sheet, and a gospel.
- £45 means we can distribute one complete Arise:Hallow community packs, filled with everything needed to bless a community through Streets of Lights, Wear Your Faith Fortnight, and Bags of Hope.
To deliver the full campaign we need to raise £3,000.
