Hello, My name is Liam, I am 26 and I live in Pemberton, Wigan. I would describe myself as an optimistic person as I like to focus on the positives rather than the negatives.
My idea is to open a Amusement Arcade in my area that will bring entertainment back that is so desperately missing, whilst also helping to boost/support local businesses as well.
Ever since covid, Pemberton has never recovered with more businesses leaving or closing than coming in, this also affected the few entertainment spaces we had, as the local Park closed and has sat vacant still till this day, and a trampoline park which was forced out. This has greatly affected places for children to go and fun, instead antisocial behaviour has started to rise more and more.
So to help bring life back and also help combat antisocial behaviour, I envision to open a family entertainment centre in the heart of Pemberton, In doing so, this will give people more reasons to come visit Pemberton. This will help to reduce antisocial behaviour and also encourage more business to come.
The money that is donated for this project will help to open an Aracde that includes funding for licenses and machines as well as acquiring a location.
