My name is Brian Ndlovu former rugby player trying to help re-establish rugby at my former club Highlanders rugby club and grow the game back home in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.
We have many amazing people who have donated rugby kits, boots, and rugby equipment also they continuously support us with donations of many other items that are invaluable to us and our rugby club.
We now once again have a lot of items to send back to our club and schools, 2 full drums to be precise, and we appeal to everyone out there as we need your help in raising funds for shipping by sea as it's the cheapest way of getting the items to Zimbabwe. Most of our girls don't have playing boots or training kits and this will help them to learn and play the game properly.
We ask for your help with whatever donation you can offer us, as the cost of shipping will likely be in the region of £600.
Highlanders rugby club is one of the The oldest teams in Zimbabwe and we are trying to revive the sport and spread it as much as we can. The club has around 60 playing members aged between 15 and 45 for both girls and boys, but they can not source equipment because rugby is not a flourishing sport in Zimbabwe.
We are still collecting any rugby equipment and other staff. Please don't hesitate to contact us.
Thank you all so much for your support.
