When the night falls and shadows stir, a young father must confront the creeping darkness that haunts his apartment. As his fears grow, the line between reality and nightmare blurs, and the very shadows that terrorise him threaten to consume him and his child. Will he find the strength to escape the grasp of the darkness, or be swallowed by it forever?
Apartment Number 4 is a noir, horror film featuring Evan. A man who has a fear of the unknown. Evan is reading a poem to his young child. The child falls asleep and Evan leaves to go to the living room. He sits down and turns on the television sipping a beverage in which strange things start happening. This film details the bizarre & unnerving experience Evan has. Is it his imagination? Or is it something, much more sinister?
Why should you support this film?
Being brought to life by a young, female lead crew comprised of both students and industry professionals. Apartment Number 4 will feature unique and breath-taking lighting and visual effects. Practical effects that will make the audience feel trapped in this nightmare with Evan. Your contributions will be used to bring these effects to life. Using the right kit, we aim to blend traditional horror elements with film noir visuals that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. Your donations will allow us to push the boundaries of our creativity, creating a jaw-dropping & captivating short film.
Lighting, the shadows they manifest, clever cinematography & brilliant production design will be utilised to bring Evan's horrors to life and onto the screen. Our crew is dedicated to creating a terrifying experience that will haunt you even after the film has concluded.
With expertise from our tutors at MetFilm, we have developed skills that will help us push this film to be the best it can be but that can't be done without your help! As students, we lack the funds that big-budget productions enjoy that are needed to create a convincing and high-quality film!

Travel and catering - to pay our cast and crew for the time and work they put in and ensure they have a safe environment to work in.
