Hello my name is John G and I’ve been a victim of a scam I invested my entire life savings and much more into.
5 years ago when I got married to the love of my life, I wanted to do something that could help strengthen our future and start a family. I invested my hardearned money into a project that ended up leaving me completely broken - financially and mentally. What hurts me the most is that the scam drained out the funds from my wife and her parents, and from my entire family too. A total of £37800 is lost. The emi every month is suffocating us. The case didn’t work in our favour as we signed papers. This is also a shout to whoever needs it, to please not sign anything that you haven’t fully read. The tiniest sentence in the corner can leave you in bigger issues than you’ve ever imagined.
The stress has been inevitably draining, making my family sick over the weeks. It has been several visits to the doctor, the hospital and the banks. It’s very tough to see beyond this problem as we almost have no money to eat anymore.
Going from a happily married man to a depressed bankrupt wreck, has been a journey I wish for nobody to ever experience. It’s so hard.
I ask from the bottom of my heart for people to help me out with whatever they can as I’ve reached a breaking point in my life and I don’t know how to move on past my depression and anxiety . One person can make a small difference but together as humanity we can make a big difference.
