Ankoma Outreach fundraiser
We did it
On 6th July 2024 we successfully raised £542 ( + est. £130.00 Gift Aid ) with 36 supporters in 28 days

£1 donation challenge - To support my family in their summer of volunteering by enabling them to take as much money as possible.

 New stretch target

If we raise more than our target, there is more to take to Ghana to support Ankoma Outreach.

In the summer holidays my sister-in-law, along with my niece and nephews (ages 10 and 15), will be volunteering in Ankoma, Ghana for the charity Ankoma Outreach. They will be working within the community of Ankoma in a range of activities, such as teaching, building and providing healthcare. They would like to take as much money as possible with them to help within the community. Any money raised will go straight to the charity Ankoma Outreach, the trip is self-funded.

The challenge is to donate ONLY £1, and gift aid it if you are able, to the charity to see how much we can raise together with such a small amount of money.

What can you get with £1 here? Maybe a bag of sweets if you are lucky? One pint of milk, one cheap loaf of bread? How many times have you found £1 lying around or in the washing machine, think about how much that £1 could mean to a whole community.

If around 10 people donate £1 and gift aid their donation what could it mean?

One child goes to school for a year,

Save a life by providing malaria testing and medication,

Provide a community feeding for over 80-100 people.

If you would like to give more than £1 please get in touch but only donate £1 through this page.

Got an idea like this?

Over £200 million has been raised from our crowd to support the projects they love! Plus tens of millions more unlocked by our partners.
