Welcome to the Global Advocacy Alliance's (GAA) crowdfunder to support one of our brilliant advocate's campaign and their fantastic efforts to deliver essential aid to every being in Gaza.
This fundraiser is part of GAA's unofficial and volunteer led work prior to our official launch in January 2025. Today we are launching the 'Animal Aid into Gaza' campaign. As an Alliance and as individuals, we fight for animal rights in the same way that we fight for human rights and environmental justice. They are three pillars that are completely intertwined - celebrated independently in their own worth and as the whole.
We appreciate that not everyone will share the same perspectives, however, we believe that facilitating the welfare of animal populations in Gaza is critically connected to the welfare of it's human population. This is reflected in the specific practices these funds will support, as bullet pointed below.
100% of the aid raised in this crowdfunder will go to 'Breaking the Chains International' for the purchase of food, water and medical aid, possible transport costs and possible import costs for the following:
- Pop-up clinics to treat sick and injured donkeys and horses, as well as providing education to their owners on best care principles and practices.
- Feeding stations for cats and dogs throughout the strip.
- Veterinary care and vaccinations for all animals.
- Disease prevention and monitoring, to mitigate the risk of disease to both animals and humans.
- Care and maintenance of animals rescued from local zoos.
